Acrylic painting "Shynee"

I had a free day today so I was trying to paint with acrylics. The result is the stylized portrait bellow, I call it "Shynee"... :) I was using some black and white picture for an inspiration, so colors are from my head... :)
It´s painted on A4 (21 x 29,5 cm) artistic hard acid free paper 250g/m2 with decent texture and its also already varnished with glossy varnish. It is signed by me and it could be easily framed and hanged on the wall.
If anyone is interested enough then I can sell it for let´s say 10 USD + postage fees. Just let me know e.g. in comment...
Just FYI - I´m leaving for the weekend and will be available on Monday...

Digital sketch "Island shack" + hangout video

Result of yesterdays Digital painting hangout with Czech community group. The topic was focused on study of landscape with water. I have to say, that my picture was definitely the best, but it was quite challenge ... and fun, of course.

Digital portrait of "Dracula´s soldier" + hangout

Next fun art portrait, for Dracula Untold movie again - I still have several interesting screencaps left so maybe more will come... :)
It took me two sessions 1,5 hour each, the first one could be seen in my hangout video bellow, the second session was mainly about detailing and tuning details...
It´s much easier to paint if you don´t need to bother with colors...

Digital sketch "Hidden Totoro" + hangout video

Here is a result of yesterdays Digital painting hangout [CZ], it was focused on cityscape and perspective. I was trying to gave more life to that pure study so you can see Totoro (favourite character of my colleague) placed into the foreground. Just for fun...

Digital sketch "Beach girl" + hangout video

I'm so busy, no time to draw or paint... so here comes some update related to yesterdays Digital painting hangout (Czech language). It's mostly a simple color sketch... better than nothing, right? :)
You can see also the video with progress,  below
The other guy was painting a digital portrait...

There is almost no progress regarding the Global Hangout community [ENG]  I've mentioned in my previous post. So, come and join...

Come and join my Digital painting hangouts community

I was experimenting with "Google+ hangouts On air" feature for few last weeks and I would say, that it has a great potential for digital artists. I've became a founder of an experimental hangout community for Czech digital painters and it's still running and growing. You can check the content and see how it looks like…

Now, I would like to expand and extend this activity with worldwide digital painters. That means to share it with related global communities and actively start using English language. So, I´ve created new google+ community - Digital painting hangouts [ENG]

Why
Most of all it's about fun and new experiences. Meet with other artists and find out what will happen... :)

How it works
- Google+ hangout on air is a free tool/service.
- 10 active participants + endless number of possible viewers
- session is streamed online in real time
- record of a session is saved to youtube archive

Don't be shy and join! :)

Digital portrait "Turk"

Finally something else than speedpaint from hangout.. :)
This digital portrait is inspired by movie Dracula Untold, there you can see this Turkish soldier...
The reference was a screencap from the movie...
It´s much less work to paint someones profile than the front view... :)

Used CS4, tablet Huion, 2 hours (maybe)...

Digital painting "Green ruins" + hangout video

I've decided to paint landscape/forest after loong time...:) It was done during yesterdays google hangout session, 2 hours, Czech language, two participants (including me) and one reference picture.
The picture is small and low resolution, shame on me...

Digital sketch "Last one standing"

This time I was trying to do something completely different. I had a reference just for very early baseline (pose, anatomy) and then my creativity/fantasy was involved in the process. So I´ve created a mood, scene, background, foreground, and a bit of story...  something completely different than my usual studies...
The result is just ugly and messy sketch, but it was quite big step for me and a lot of fun... I would like to work this way more in the future... to give some sense/story to my pictures...
